Meanwhile, BFGoodrich has a price range of $60-$300 and offers Passenger, Performance, SUV/Truck, and Winter tires with a UTQG rating range of 400-600. The UTQG rating system, which stands for Uniform Tire Quality Grading, was developed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to measure and compare the treadwear, traction, and temperature resistance of tires. A higher treadwear rating means a longer expected lifespan of the tire compared to a control tire.
